Mexichem Fluor Inc. (MFI) is working under Department of Energy Grant DE-MS0000009 to design, engineer, plan and build a Lithium hexafluorophosphate (LiPF6) plant in Louisiana, United States of America.
MFI intends to issue a request for proposal (RFP) for approximately 63 canned centrifugal pumps. The pumps shall provide leak‑free liquid transfer by enclosing the motor and pump in a sealed housing. They are intended for hazardous or sensitive fluids where emissions must be minimized. Materials are primarily expected to be stainless steel and high nickel based alloy construction. Most motor ratings will be under 100HP with only a few exceeding 100HP, API 685 will be the governing code.
RFP is expected to be released on-or-about May 26, 2026.
Proposal evaluation factors will include technical, commercial, and governmental compliance, as well as past relevant experience, supplier qualifications and compliance with submittal requirements.
Potential bidders will need to have executed non-disclosure agreements, be approved for bidding by the licensor of the technology, and be successfully registered in good standing with SAM.gov within the 30-day Open Advertisement duration, prior to receiving bid documents.
Interested parties should contact sm-btr-scm-orbia@worley.com for non-disclosure agreements, with copies to Jennifer.yaros@Worley.com and Matthew.Pecci@Orbia.com.
Advertisement to run from April 27, 2026, through May 26, 2026.
